Thermoplastic Cut-Through Tester

It determines the capacity of the magnet wire insulation to resist thermoplastic flow (softening) under the influence of temperature, load (pressure), and time. The specimen test voltage can be set at 100 or 115 volts AC. The test temperature rate of rise can be set at 2°C or 5°C per minute. The 5 specimen oven can test wire sizes 12 to 44 AWG, rectangular, and large round magnet wire. The 20 specimen oven can test 14 to 36 AWG round magnet wire.
