The NOVA 160 Rectangular Wire Elongation Tester performs the elongation test according to NEMA-1000. The tester can be calibrated traceable to N.I.S.T. The tester elongates a 10 inch (25.4 cm) specimen of rectangular or round magnet wire to failure or a maximum of 50 %. A high precision digital electronic scale is used to measure the elongation. The wire holding jaws is user friendly and requires minimal effort in clamping the rectangular wire specimen.
