Rectangular Wire Elongation Tester

This tester performs the elongation test according to NEMA MW-1000. The tester elongates a 10-inch specimen of rectangular or round magnet wire to failure interchangeor a maximum of 50 % elongation. A high precision digital electronic scale is used to measure the elongation. Magnet wire sizes of 12 AWG round to ¼” x ½” rectangular wire can be tested.
