The Nova+ 112 Magnet Wire Elongation Tester performs the elongation test according to NEMA, or IEC and JIS specifications. The tester can be calibrated traceable to NIST. The elongation tester elongates a specimen of annealed magnet wire with a test length of 10 inches (NEMA) or 250 mm (IEC) to a predetermined % elongation up to 50% or to failure. The maximum elongation is 50 %.
The tester can test wire sizes 44 AWG to 12 AWG (0.05 mm to 2 mm).
Ball screw and linear guide assembly together with reliable electronics in a totally enclosed chassis provide a sturdy and reliable test platform.
