The Nova 1590 Slit, Twist and Peel (STP) Tester is a motorized specimen twister. It twists a single specimen with a scrape along the axial length until the insulation peels from the conductor. A turn counter determines the number of rotation required. It is designed to be modular, ergonomic and user friendly. The sturdy chassis with its modular design ensures trouble free operation and ease of maintenance.
The Nova 1590 consists of the base plate, the control/twist motor module, and the sliding block / load application module.
